A sworn officer can make an arrest, de-escalate with the weight of the badge behind them, and coordinate directly with responding units if an incident escalates. Scope the event
We talk through the venue, the crowd, the hours, alcohol, cash, VIPs, and what you're actually worried about — then determine the real officer count. Not a number pulled off a rate sheet.
Write the plan
You get posts, times, responsibilities, and a short operational plan specific to that event — including how officers coordinate with your staff and with responding units if something escalates.
Staff and supervise
We fill the posts with off-duty sworn officers, brief them before the doors open, supervise through the event, and close out with you afterward.

A PGA TOUR and DP World Tour event, played at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville. We scoped it, staffed it, and worked it alongside PGA TOUR Security in 2025 and again in 2026.
Leadership
You're hiring over two decades of public safety and command experience.
Joe Keeling founded Keeling Security Consultants in 2024, bringing more than two decades in law enforcement, emergency services, and major event operations.
His law enforcement career with the Louisville Metro Police Department has run from patrol through major crime investigations and supervision, including service as a Patrol Sergeant and as a Detective Sergeant leading detectives on major criminal investigations. He is the Director of Safety and Security at Hurstbourne Country Club and a Security Consultant for the ISCO Championship, where he works alongside PGA TOUR Security to plan and execute tournament-week operations.
Keeling Security Consultants is a veteran-owned business. Earlier in his career he spent seven years as an EMT with Louisville Metro EMS and served as a Maritime Law Enforcement Specialist with the U.S. Coast Guard. He holds the Medal of Valor and the FBI-LEEDA Leadership Trilogy Award.
